My Top 4 Most Hated #Android #Fitness Apps

Trying to stay fit or get in shape? If you're in the latter category, you're not alone. I've been at it for 2 years and have seen some improvement, but nothing dramatic...probably due to my penchant for eating wonderful Thai food, indulging in occasional Cookie Dough'nt You Want Some at ColdStone Creamery, and other great food!

Still, I use some Android apps on a daily basis, and have come to find them invaluable in health and fitness. Here's my short list:

  1. MyFitnessPal - Helps you track what you eat, calories, exercise, and more. Great all around, must-have app. You can also update this on the web, so it's ubiquitous, just like the tire around one's belly.
  2. Push Ups - What a phenomenal app, this app just works and helps you get going. "Think of the Push Ups app as your personal fitness trainer that is going to help you build up the strength to complete those 50, 75, 100 or 125 continuous push ups within a short few days or weeks, depending on your level of fitness."
  3. Sit Ups - Give it a try, just be ready for the abdominal anguish. "Getting you to doing 100, 150, 200 or 250 sit ups in a row -- that is what the Sit Ups fitness app is all about."
  4. Squats - I was tempted to crack a joke about this, but it's worth doing. "Getting you to doing 100, 150, 200 or 250 squats in a row, all at your own pace!"
I had a fifth one but kicked it off my phone after I found myself curled up in a fetal position wishing the pain would stop.
