Special thanks to Ellen Zimmerman for her hard work in creating THE GIMP video tutorials. If you're not sure what THE GIMP is, then you've been missing out on an easy to use image editing program that you can install on Windows, Mac, and, of course, GNU/Linux operating systems/distros.
GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languagesBelow is Ellen's announcement:
Here are links to graffiti tutorials I use in my classes. They are based off of the directions given at this site http://gimp-tutorials.net/Graffiti-Tutorial . And thanks Miguel, exporting to the large .mov does work the best!

You can download THE GIMP:
- Ubuntu or Debian users can simply run
apt-get install gimpto get the latest stable release of GIMP.
