1. Use Truecrypt.com to create an encrypted box of data. If using android, you can open truecrypt volumes on the go with EDS Lite.
2. SSE File Encryptor works great on Linux,Mac, Windows and Android.
3. An alternative to SSE is AESCrypt.com, which also works on Linux, Mac, Windows and Android.
